Batch 50.50

Posted by on

Our journey at Sisyphus has been incredible so far.  A milestone is here that we knew we would reach when we opened, but we can’t help but be surprised we are already here.  A few weeks ago, we brewed our 50th (and 51st) batch.  An imperial stout, that clocks in at 10.50% alcohol, fitting for our 50.50th batch.  This beer was too high gravity to be brewed in just one batch, so we split it in two.
Full of flaked barley, black malt, roasted barley, chocolate malt and all Chinook hops, this beer has a wonderful roasty aroma, balanced bitterness, and goes down remarkably smooth.

It’s exciting to look towards the future, to batch 100, and beyond, and also reflect on where we have come from since we started this brewing journey.
Batch 50.50 will be available at the taproom this week in 10 oz. pours.

Join us this Wednesday at the taproom for an evening of poetry by local Minnesota Poets.

Let's get Sillyphus with Sisyphus!
Our monthly comedy showcase is this Thursday at 8.00 pm!
Corey Adam is going to make you laugh, no matter who you are. The pugnacious standup, born in Hibbing, MN, made his debut in 2008. Corey's act is a well-polished ruckus that blends his lively personal stories with smart, friendly audience interaction.

Maggie Faris is noted for her ceaselessly cheerful personality and seemingly endless series of quirky intelligent jokes dissecting our fears and social barriers.

Wayne Burfeind has a happily jaded approach combined with contemporary observations spiked with an eye for the ridiculous. His stage persona is some amiable and unassuming, you won't notice how far into left field he's taken you, until you're already there.

Linda Aarons' quiet demeanor is a perfect set-up to her smart punchlines! Her pop-culture expertise, keen insights into human nature and dry-as-dust delivery makes her a favorite with all audiences
